Strauch, Ludwig Karl (Austrian, 1875-1959) oil on board the painting of a church with mountain landscape signed L. K. Strauch (lower right). Ludwig Karl Strauch studied painting from 1890 to 1899. Genre scenes from his immediate surroundings are the subject of Strauch's paintings, as in the subject of this painting, near Klosterneuburg, Austria. 
Condition: Painting in excellent condition, some narrow chiselling at the edge of the painting on the right side near weft. Frame has signs of wear of the display and use, chips, nicks, jingles. Approximately, height 16 inches x 11 inches (18.5 inches x 13.75 inches - framed).
