A large and impressive gilt silvered bronze planter or jardiniere by Christofle, with open work depicting fruiting vines, the handles realistically modeled as rams heads. With metal liner. Full marks with serial number to underside. 2nd half 19th Century.
Measurements: Approx. 20 inches diameter x 5.5 inches tall
Condition: Great condition. Very light gilt wear. Original liner but has been repainted.
