Manner of Sevres hand painted porcelain covered urn, circa 1900. A deep magenta colored ground with relief gilt garland decoration, elaborate gilt designs throughout with turquoise, green, and white enamel jeweled decorations. Lid with figural winged cherub. Cross mark to underside. Screws are possible replacements. The model and form of this urn is after an original 18th century model by Sevres by the name vase à panneaux or à perles.

Condition: Gilt wear throughout, considerable losses to enamel jewels. Cherub possibly missing horn. Some later added enamel beads. Felt pads added to the underside to remedy a wobble in the base. Dark scuffs to the side, please refer to photos.
