Pair Russian Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich, Imperial Porcelain Factory St. Petersburg porcelain plates, circa 1890. Each plate hand painted with various pairs of cherubs interacting in the clouds. Scalloped rimmed edge with gilt foliate swags and an imperial crown to the top. The underside with blue and green imperial cyphers dating around 1890.
