Pair Pirkenhammer porcelain Aesthetic gold encrusted double handled footed vase, circa 1880. The central image of the urns depict gold encrusted birds perched on tree branches with more tree branches to the verso. Gold encrusted floral designs throughout with gilt figural griffins to the double handles. Pirkenhammer mark to the underside and impressed "FM" mark for Fischer & Mieg, the founders of Pirkenhammer.

Measurements: Approx. 13.5" x 8.5" x 23" tall 
Condition: Great to excellent overall condition, light wear to the gilt areas. A couple subtle hairlines to the base of the vase (can be viewed in picture 5 to the top edge of the base on the left). We do not believe these are impact related and they do not take away from the urns. An equally impressive pair of vases by Pirkenhammer with a similar motif previously sold at Christie's for over $18,000!.
