Minton England Pâte-sur-pâte Porcelain Vase. A dark chocolate brown ground, four large panels depicting maidens in various poses in white slip. Polychrome slip decoration to the ground. Signed "LB" in slip for Lawrence Birks. Gold Minton crown mark to the underside, shape #1185, and Minton date cypher for 1888. A scarce model in an unusually tall size.
