Mimi Murphey (American 20th Century) ceramic dog & owl figurines, Signed. The figurines are a modernist take on a dog and owl. Artist signed Mimi Murphey to the underside base of the dog, and dated to 1956. Mimi Murphey was born in Dallas and attended both SMU and the Dallas Art Institute. Afterwards she continued studies at the Art Students League and the New York Clay Club. Her mentor was the noted sculptress, Eugenie Shonnard. - Fineart Hertiage
