Born in New York, Marilyn Newmark is a horse sculptor, including racehorses and equestrian pieces. she is known for her ability to capture details. in 1971, she won the Anna Hyatt Huntington Award and in 1972, her equestrian sculpture, "Hacking House", was selected for the Madison Square Garden Trophy.
