Jilda Schwartz (American, 20th C) with ceramic bust lid of a woman with attached earrings. Two braided poodles in the woman's hair and the other hand carved in the chest. Hand carved designs throughout the vase with the words "Define art" to the head. Signed by the artist on the back.
Weight:about 7 lbs Schwartz is a graduate of the Art Center College of Design. he worked as an art director and illustrator in film, television and print and taught painting, drawing and mixed media at private and public schools in the Los Angeles area. in the last twenty-five years, it has been his goal, painting and sculpture in clay. His work has been exhibited in galleries and museums and can be found in private collections all over the world.
