Weight: Approx. 4 lbs. Bert Beirne combines her love of painting and tradition techniques into distinctive still life oil paintings. Influenced strongly by the chiaroscuro of 17" century Flemish painting, her style is both contemporary and classical. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bert received her BFA at the University of Cincinnati. A resident of Flowery Brance, Georgia, she has lived in the Atlanta area since 1968 and is a co-founder of the Dunwoody Fine Art Asso ciation. Bert's oil paintings have won top awards in numerous regional and national shows and are included in private and corporate collections throughout the United States, Canada, England, Germany, Japan, and Puerto Rico.
