12 Manufacture de Sevres Louis-Philippe for Chateau de St. Cloud Bleu Agate Dinner Plates, 1832. A remarkable set of 12 plates from the original order of the Bleu Agate service commissioned by King Louis-Philippe, the service is most commonly referred to as the Service de la Table du Roi. All 12 of these plates were designated for one of the primary residences of the King, Chateau de St. Cloud. All matching plates with blue ground to the edge and decorated with gilt palmettes, gilt floral medallion to the center. All 12 with matching date marks for 1832 and marks designating the plates for delivery to Chateau de St. Cloud, various incised marks and overglaze gilders and decorator marks.

Condition: Excellent overall condition. Stacking wear to center edges, some surface scratches to center gilt. One plate with a chip to the underside foot. Please refer to photos.
